1) Description:
Light steel structure building is a new type of building structure system, which is formed by the main steel framework linking up H-section, Z-section, and U-section steel components, roof and walls using a variety of panels and other components such as windows and doors. Light steel structure building is widely used in warehouses, workshops, large factories, and so on.
2) Characteristics:
1. Wide span: Single span or multiple spans, the max span is 36m without middle column.

Materials:
1. The main frame (columns and beams) is made of welded H-style steel.
2. The columns are connected with the foundation by pre-embedding anchor bolt.
3. The beams and columns, beams and beams are connected with high intensity bolts.
4. The envelope construction net is made of cold form C-style purlins.
5. The wall and roof are made of color steel board or color steel sandwich panels, which are connected with the purlin by Self-tapping nails.
6. Doors and windows can be designed at anywhere which can be made into normal type, sliding type or roll up type with material of PVC, metal, alloy aluminium, sandwich panel and so on.

What is prefabricated steel structure building?
Steel structure building is built over three members connected to each other by bolts and screws:

Steel columns will be H section steel, square tube steel according to different type of buildings. Steel beams are usually H section steel.
Secondary members (C or Z purlins, bracing...)
Roof and wall sheeting or sandwich panel (EPS, fiberglass wool, PU sandwich panel)
Other building components (Rolling doors, aluminium windows, etc.)
The entire primary members and secondary members are designed and fully fabricated including cut-to-length, punching, drilling, welding and performing in the factory before shipping to the site for erection.
At the site, all components are assembled and jointed via nut & bolt connections; thereby reducing the costs and assembly times.
These buildings can be provided with different structural and non-structural additions such as ventilators, doors & windows, trusses, mezzanine floors, canopies, crane, insulation…, based on the customer's requirements.

Load includes wind load, snow load, dead load, and live load. The engineers calculate the steel structure Qty. based on the load. Large load, more steel structure will be used.
3. The span of the steel frame
Usually, the span of steel frame will controlled in 36m. The larger of the span, the greater the amount of steel structure per square meter. If the steel frame has a large span and no center pillar, the amount of steel used will increase.
4. Structure
If the building has glass curtain wall, crane or mezzanine floor, canopy, etc., to ensure the safe, steel structure will be increased.
