1. Lightweight
ALC is a lightweight porous material with an absolute dry density generally less than 625 kg/m?, Not only can it be used as partition boards and roof panels, but also more for exterior walls and floors. Its self weight is about 1/4 of that of ordinary concrete and 1/3 of that of bricks, which can effectively reduce the self weight of buildings;
2. Thermal insulation
The thermal conductivity of ALC board is only 0.13W/m · K, and its thermal insulation performance is 8 times that of ordinary concrete and 4 times that of solid brick masonry. It is a highly efficient thermal insulation and enclosure structural material. 3. Fire resistance
ALC board is an inorganic incombustible material with good volume thermal stability, slow heat transfer, and excellent fire resistance. The fire resistance limit of 125mm thick board reaches more than 4 hours, exceeding the first class fire resistance standard;
4. Sound insulation
The internal microstructure of ALC products is composed of tiny pores that are uniform and disconnected from each other, with dual performance of sound insulation and absorption. The sound insulation capacity of 100mm ALC board can reach 40.8dB; The average sound insulation of 150mm thick ALC board is 45dB;
5. Bearing capacity
As a filling material for the enclosure structure, ALC plate has the characteristics of light weight and high strength. Inside the plate, there are steel mesh sheets that meet the design requirements, and can withstand corresponding wind loads, snow loads, and dynamic loads;
6. Seismic resistance
ALC panels are light in weight, and their scientific and reasonable installation node design and installation methods enable them to have good follow-up performance. Seismic performance tests of aerated concrete exterior wall panels for steel structure residential systems have been conducted at the Seismic Test Center of Tongji University and Southeast University, respectively, and low cycle repeated tests have proven that ALC panels have excellent seismic performance;
7. Impermeability
The impermeability test conducted shows that it is three times higher than ordinary autoclaved aerated concrete. ALC products have excellent microstructure, and the holes do not communicate with each other. Their softening coefficient after water saturation, Rw/R0, is ≥ 0.88, which is far superior to ordinary autoclaved lightweight aerated concrete;
8. Environmental protection
The entire production process does not use harmful substances, and the finished product does not contain harmful substances. Water and materials are recycled. The construction and installation are conducted using dry methods, which have no impact or pollution on the environment. Through testing, the internal exposure index of ALC material is only 0.2 (standard requirement ≤ 1.0), and the external exposure index is 0.1 (standard requirement ≤ 1.0). It is a green material without radioactivity and harmful substances.
